Ecole Bilingue honored as Green Ribbon nominee

Ecole Bilingue has been honored as a 2025 Green Ribbon Nominee by the Louisiana Department of Education to recognize the work we’ve been doing over many years: green infrastructure renovations, composting, school gardens, water garden, high quality science education and more. The Louisiana Department Of Education presented Ecole Bilingue with a banner, which is currently hanging in front of red bench alley.

The federal award has highlighted schools that embody the three pillars of sustainability: environmental impact and costs, student and staff health and well-being, and environmental and sustainability education.
