Chess Camp
June 1 – 26 & July 6 – 31
Chess Camp is offered during Ecole Bilingue’s fall break, spring break and summer break. It is open to students across the New Orleans area.
Chess campers will enhance their strategy while playing chess under the supervision and guidance of Nick Matta, local chess teacher and chess master. Camp includes group lessons, practice games, puzzles, and tournament play over the full day with breaks for outside play and lunch. Snacks and juice provided for short breaks. Chess Camp Details
- Chess camp is available for children in grades 1 – 8 only.
- Chess camp is full day only.
- Lunch is not served during camp.
- Camp fees for the week: $375
- Camp hours are 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
- Before care is available from 7:30 – 8:15 am for $12 per day or $30 for the full week.
- After care is available from 3:45 – 5:30 pm for $16.50 per day or $60 for the full week.
- Chess camps are conducted in English.
MATERIALS TO BRING:
- Labeled, bagged lunch
- Labeled water bottle
CARPOOL PROCEDURES
- Morning drop off is from 8:15 – 8:30 am
- Afternoon pick up runs from 3:30 – 3:45 pm
- Drop off will be in the playground of 821 General Pershing.
