Support EB

Annual Giving

The Annual Giving Fund plays an important role in the ongoing financial stability of Ecole Bilingue. The Annual Giving Fund supports the very essentials that provide a superior academic environment for students: exemplary faculty and staff, advanced technology and curriculum materials, small classes and personal attention, increased financial aid, an excellent art and humanities programs. It is the strength of Ecole Bilingue and the Annual Giving Fund that provides for the margin of excellence in all that Ecole Bilingue is does – beyond what is possible with tuition alone.

Gifts for the Annual Fund are welcomed all year but emphasize during four key event:

  1. Give EB Day in October
  2. Giving Tuesday in November
  3. GiveNOLA Day, which takes place this year in May, 2023. GiveNOLA Day, hosted by the Greater New Orleans Foundation, is the city’s largest online philanthropy event.

Fundraising Events

Ecole Bilingue holds two fundraising event, one in the fall, Soirée, and one the spring, Fête Française. Soiree is a 21+ themed cocktail party, generally for close friends and parents. Fête Française is New Orlean’s premier French festival open to the general public.

Capital Campaign

In September 2022, Ecole Bilingue launched the Constance Street Capital Campaign to renovate the Constance Street Building.

Ecole Bilingue will transform this historic building into a thriving educational learning space for the school’s growing population.

The renovation of the Constance Street building will prioritize four middle school classrooms as well as a dedicated sound-proofed music room and dedicated state-of-the-art STEM lab. This building will also provide a student lounge with lockers and a dedicated student community space. Administrative offices will be located on the second floor.

Community Relief Fund:  This Fund was established in 2020 to help our Ecole Bilingue families manage the personal impacts of COVID. This Fund is to be used to help families who find themselves unable to cover tuition, the lunch program, or other school essentials. Help our community weather COVID together.

Hurricane Relief Fund: With climate change impacting the frequency and severity of hurricanes, these destructive and debilitating storms are our new reality. However, we weather these storms together as a community. The one thing we are is stronger together. We are resilient, resourceful, and resolute as a community and we will persevere, together.

The Hurricane Relief Fund ensures Ecole Bilingue can provide housing for displaced staff (many of whom have support systems outside of the United States), pay salaried and hourly staff, and be a stable source of comfort for student’s mental and physical wellbeing during these tumultuous times. These funds are protected and can only be “unlocked” with a Board of Directors vote. Help us prepare for the 2023 hurricane season.
