Fête Française celebrates all that gives the French, our region, and our city… that certain je ne sais quoi!
Mark your calendars for Saturday, March 25, 2017.
Fête Française is a free outdoor festival held at our uptown campus, off Magazine Street each Spring. Our Fête carries the distinction of being the only true French festival in New Orleans. In addition to being our largest fundraiser, this fun-filled event celebrates all things uniquely French and helps to keep the Francophone heritage alive and well in New Orleans and Louisiana through a variety of food, music, art, entertainment, children’s activities and cultural demonstrations.
The festival is known for its exceptional food and drink – French mussels, cochon de lait, pommes frites, and more specially curated from the area’s top-tier restaurants and fine wine purveyors. An exciting musical lineup, games, face and hair painting, a rock-climbing wall, a dunk tank, a fine art market and pop-up trunk shows, silent auction, a raffle, and surprises in store… stay tuned!
All proceeds from Fête Française support Ecole Bilingue de la Nouvelle-Orléans.
