From the earliest age, our students are immersed in a second language and in art, music, and movement. We know that by doing so, we develop students' self-expression and appreciation for other cultures.
We encourage students' innate curiosity to foster the joy of learning, and we nurture students' individual interests to grow their passions.
We strive to create a place where everyone feels they belong. We celebrate languages, cultures, and perspectives, and foster our students to become compassionate leaders in a multicultural world.
ANNUAL GIVING
The Annual Giving Fund plays an important role in the on-going financial stability of Ecole Bilingue. As with all independent schools, the AGF closes the gap between tuition and the actual cost of education each student.
Ecole Bilingue is a 501(c)3 nonprofit institution (72-1420328) and every contribution is tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. For more information, please contact Robin Borne, Director of Advancement at 504-896-4500.
Giving Captains
The Giving Captains program is a parent-led initiative launched at the start of the 2024–25 school year to support the success of EB’s Annual Fund. As ambassadors of the Advancement Department, Giving Captains work closely with the Director of Advancement to help plan, strategize, and serve as a key point of connection between the school and the parent community.
Giving Captains play an important role in fostering a culture of philanthropy at EB. They help strengthen parent engagement by sharing information, offering encouragement, and supporting the school’s mission through outreach and advocacy.
Currently, EB has three Giving Captains—one for each grade cycle—but we hope to grow the program so that every grade has a dedicated representative.
Interested in becoming a Giving Captain for your child’s grade? We’d love to hear from you! Email robin.borne@ebnola.com.
The Annual Giving Fund plays an important role in the on-going financial stability of Ecole Bilingue. As with all independent schools, the AGF closes the gap between tuition and the actual cost of educating each student. The AGF opens at the beginning of each school year and ends July 31 of that same school year. Money raised through the AGF is spent on operating expenses for that school year. Gifts to the AGF are typically unrestricted and are almost never spent on items outside of the operating budget.
The Annual Giving Fund supports the very essentials that provide a superior academic environment for students (everything from teacher salaries to light bulbs) small class sizes and personal attention, exemplary faculty and staff, advanced technology and curriculum materials, increased financial aid, and excellent art and humanities programs. It is the strength of Ecole Bilingue and the Annual Giving Fund that provides for the margin of excellence in all that Ecole Bilingue is does – beyond what is possible with tuition alone.
There are several ways you can support EB’s Annual Fund:
- Explore the many giving levels — become a monthly sustainer or give an annual gift that
- Send checks made payable to Ecole Bilingue and mail/ drop off to 821 General Pershing
- Support Give Nola Day on May 5, 2025- EB is proud to partner with the Greater New Orleans Foundation each May for an impactful day of giving. Save the Date and be part of this important, regional day of giving.
We are committed to keeping tuition affordable, and as such, we have an operating gap each year. The Annual Fund closes this gap and allows for us to pay our excellent faculty, maintain and upgrade our facilities, and provide additional programming and supplies
We ask each family to make a gift that is meaningful to them. At Ecole Bilingue, the annual fund helps us keep socioeconomic diversity strong: 1 in 6 families receive tuition assistance at Ecole Bilingue.
