EB second grade classes place 2nd and 6th in North America

In this year’s La Course aux Nombres, a mental math competition organized by the AEFE (Agency for French Education Abroad), our second-grade classes earned 2nd and 6th place among all AEFE-accredited schools in North America.

Overall, EB had 19 students who placed in the top spots for their grade-level, and Reed Smith placed 1st among all second-grade students in the competition! 

La Course aux Nombres challenges students to solve 30 mental math problems in just 10 minutes—without scratch paper or calculators—testing both speed and accuracy.
