EB 7th grader competes at Scripps National Spelling Bee

Langston Jones won the New Orleans regional spelling bee with the word e-s-p-e-r-a-n-t-o
Ecole Bilingue 5ème student Langston Jones (7th grade) competed in the Scripps National Spelling Bee after advancing as the champion in the New Orleans regional competition.
Langston’s winning word was “esperanto.” This is Ecole Bilingue’s third year participating in the regional bee and the second year in a row that an EB student won and advanced to the national competition. 5th grade student Leya placed 9th overall in the regional bee this year. We’re so proud of our students!
